Research specializations: public management, organizational behavior, human resource management, diversity, equity and inclusion, behavioral public administration and experimental methods.
Ivan Lee is an instructor ABD (Fall 2021) and an incoming assistant professor (starting Spring 2022) at the School of Public Affairs (SPA) of Arizona State University. He will be working at Hainan University-Arizona State University International Tourism College (HAITC), which is located in Haikou, China.
Lee is interested in the areas of public management, organizational behavior, human resource management, and diversity, equity and inclusion. His general research agenda explores the judgment and decision-making processes of public employees and the citizens they serve. He is currently studying why public employees may become more (or less) risk-averse over time. His research findings have been published in Public Administration Review, Public Management Review, Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis and PLOS ONE.
