HAITC celebrates World Tourism Day
The HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College of Hainan University (HAITC) celebrated World Tourism Day from Sept 27 to 28.
The day aims at fostering awareness of the social, cultural, political and economic value of tourism, as well as its contribution to realizing the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) designated “tourism for inclusive growth” as the theme of the day.
HAITC’ s celebration intends to deepen understanding of the tourism industry and the day, as well as build Hainan province into an international tourism island under the policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
Staff and students of the college sent video greetings from famous scenic spots around the world, which HAITC used to make a short film titled “Join Us”.
