HAITC welcomes freshmen

Sept 4 was the enrollment day of the HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College of Hainan University (HAITC). The college launched activities to welcome new students that were attended by the school leadership, teacher representatives and student volunteers.

The college prepared welcome packs for the freshmen, which included the school emblem, card holders, the campus map, and the school manual. Signature boards and coffee stations were also set up for freshmen with a unique experience.

Fu Xuanguo, secretary of the CPC HNU committee, Luo Qingming, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), deputy secretary of the CPC HNU committee and president of the university, and Wang Chongmin, vice-president of the university, inspected the service center for freshmen and registration base and spoke highly of the welcome activities.

committee, and Li Meizhen and Zhan Xianfeng, vice-deans of the college, learn about the registration and participated in the welcome activities.

Student volunteers also assisted in the freshmen reception under the guidance of the school leadership. With the help of teachers and student volunteers, freshmen finished their registration and officially embarked on a new journey as HAITCers.

Following the enrollment, the HAITC leadership visited student dormitories to check their living environment, asked about their expectations of college life, gave them best wishes in adapting to their college life as soon as possible and urged them to be well-rounded talents.
