Selection contest for the national e-commerce competition held in HNU
The Hainan University Selection Contest for the 11th National E-commerce Innovation·Creativity·Entrepreneurship Competition was inaugurated at Hainan University (HNU) on April 24. The competition was organized by the China E-commerce Industry-Education Integration Innovation Alliance, the Education Department of Hainan Province, and HNU.

Members of the Hainan Provincial Committee for E-commerce Education, professional judges from the tourism industry and leaders and teachers of the HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College, Hainan University (HAITC), attended the competition.
At the opening ceremony, Han Liguang, Party secretary of of HNU’s School of Tourism, and Geng Gang, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, gave keynote speeches to encourage students to be positive in the competition, improve their abilities, and strive to achieve excellent results and win glory for the school.

After the opening ceremony, each team presented the content, products, and development potential of its project to the judges in detail. While listening carefully to the reports, the judges put forward pertinent and effective opinions on how to improve and develop the projects.
It is reported that 121 teams, 603 college students and 102 instructors signed up for the school-level trial, which covered 16 colleges of HNU. Three special prizes, nine first prizes, 18 second prizes, and 17 third prizes were given, as were three prizes each for the “Best Innovation”, “Best Creativity” and “Best Entrepreneurship”. The outstanding teams will represent the school in the next stage of the competition.
