HAITC and Italian Barista School sign cooperation agreements
The unveiling ceremony of HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College (HAITC) and Italian Barista School Certified Classroom was held on June 1, 2020, at Tin Ka Ping Building of Hainan University.
The ceremony was attended by Wang Lin, dean of HAITC, Li Meizhen, vice-dean of HAITC, Li Tao, executive director of Italian Barista School (IBS) in China, and Yang Fuqiang, chairman of International Institute of Coffee Tasters (IIAC) China.

Li Tao and Yang Fuqiang discussed the development history and prospects of IIAC and the coffee industry. They spoke highly of their cooperation and said that IBS has always attached great importance to the school-enterprise cooperation model. They expressed their confidence and expectations for the collaboration between the IBS and HAITC.
Lin welcomed IBS leaders and emphasized that through this cooperation, the world's cutting-edge coffee tasting, training methods and results can be integrated with students' education and practical experience. She added that she is looking forward to jointly creating a model of school-enterprise cooperation.
Meanwhile, Wang proposed that such cooperation be further expanded to provide abundant training opportunities for the college's students.
The collaboration agreement provides an opportunity for further multi-level, multi-form and multi-field support between the two parties, which will significantly promote the combination and optimized allocation of school-enterprise resources and help cultivate more international talents to contribute to the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.
