The College of Biomedical Engineering of Hainan University (HNU) has started its recruitment for talents from both home and abroad, announced the university on Feb 21.

Set up on Jan 3, the College of Biomedical Engineering of HNU is expected to cultivate talents in biomedical engineering, as well as a high-quality scientific research and teaching team to boost the construction of HNU’s cluster for health and science, as well as to contribute to the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Zone (Port).

Five to eight places are offered for both teaching and research talents, as well as postdoctoral researchers in four areas separately, namely biomedical imaging, digital life and biomedical informatics, biomedical sensing and instrumentation, as well as optical brain imaging and neuroinformatics.

Teaching and research talents should work full time at the university.

Those applying for the places should have acquired doctoral degrees from prestigious universities around the worlds in majors including biomedical engineering, mathematics, physics, electronic science and technology, neurobiology, medicine, pattern recognition and intelligent systems, computer science and technology, instrument science and technology, or computational mathematics and medical imaging.

Fresh graduates should acquire their degree within one year when applying for one of the places.
