A variety of positive culture-themed activities with ease of participation and entertainment-aided teaching are offered by the Communist Youth League of Hainan University in order to create a culture-intensive environment and a favorable platform for the improvement of students' comprehensive quality and the campus' cultural climate and role. 

For instance, four cultural activities for undergrads, namely the Freshmen Cultural Festival, the Clubs Cultural Festival, the Culture Tracing Festival, and the Youth Cultural Festival are beneficial for completing culture and activities coverage. 

Constantly integrating cultural resources inside and outside the school as well as creating a college art troupe will help elevate the significance of the works and a "production line" of high-class cultural and artistic products against the backdrop of an increasingly thriving cultural climate. In this way a booming cultural and educational situation can arouse the passion of young students in pursuit of independent personalities and good morality. Hainan University was awarded the title of "First National Civilized Campus" by the Ministry of Education and the General Office of the Central Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress.
