Hainan Leying International Hospital in Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone has made innovations in both its architectural design and overall management, local media outlets reported on Sept 1.

Covering a total area of around 15,000 square meters, the hospital is a third-tier hospital focusing on assisted reproduction.

It is designed by Wang Zheng, a famous designer from Pan-China Group, and it is striving to become a "garden for treating and healing."

Being different from the normal hospitals, which are oftentimes formed by separate buildings, Leying hospital scatters its buildings such as the building for inpatient and the building for scientific research all over the area and connects these buildings by skyway bridges and corridors.

A courtyard will be set up at the entrance of the hospital on Kangxiang Road, offering non-medical comprehensive facilities such as a rest area and cafe bars for people to relax before visiting the doctors. A 600-square-meter rooftop garden will also be available at the hospital.

The hospital is set to start operation in October 2022 and will be able to meet the demands from people seeking treatment for 3,000 periods annually, bringing brand-new experience and the hope of the new birth for domestic infertile population.
