Boston Scientific Corporation, together with Boao Yiling Life Care Center, hosted the REZUM hyperthermia ablation system surgery conference, and completed the first prostate hyperthermia ablation surgery in China on Dec 12, 2020.

As the global first hyperthermia ablation system for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, REZUM has the advantages of a short operation time, a fast recovery time, and high safety. It is suitable for use in primary hospitals as a daytime surgery.

The "first trial" of REZUM is expected to accelerate its entry into the Chinese market, thereby benefiting many patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia in China as early as possible, promoting the implementation of graded diagnosis and treatment, and helping to build a "healthy China".
