Sanya Nankai School to commence enrollment this autumn

Sanya Yanzhou Bay Science and Technology City is set to commence enrollment for its newly established Nankai School.

Sanya Nankai School will have a total capacity of 2,700 students, and covers an area of 154 mu (10 hectares). It has a planned scale of 66 classrooms, including 24 classrooms for junior high, 24 classrooms for senior high, and 18 classrooms for its international department. The school is equipped with modern buildings, standard synthetic grass sports fields, various sports facilities, a swimming pool, and a conference hall with a capacity of 1,000 people. It also has well-equipped dining halls, teachers' apartments, and student dormitories.

This year, Sanya Nankai School's junior high department plans to enroll four classes, while the senior high department plans to enroll eight classes. The school's class size is set at 45 students per class, most of whom will be children of scientific researchers from Yanzhou Bay Science and Technology City.

Additionally, the school's kindergarten department will open 12 classes, which can accommodate up to 360 children. The kindergarten is equipped with intelligent teaching equipment and has multipurpose rooms for science, home economics, and music lessons.

The elementary school department will have 30 classes with a capacity of 1,350 students. It will provide special courses in labor skills, natural sciences, languages, and arts. It is equipped with music rooms, art studios, calligraphy classrooms, and a multipurpose conference hall.

Yang Jin, the vice principal of the school, expressed that with the increasing demand from talents and the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the three sections of the school will enhance the quality of education in Yazhou.
