Construction of the main steel structure of the Hainan Science and Technology Museum project, located on the west coast of Haikou, was recently completed. In 2022, investment of 345 million yuan ($51 million) in the project was finally placed.
The Hainan Science and Technology Museum is one of the 10 public cultural facilities projects in Hainan province's capital city. It is located in the Changxiu area of Haikou. The construction area of the project is 46,500 square meters, and will accommodate the main museum area, the planetarium, the corridor and the outdoor science and technology cultural square.
