The second China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) will be held in Haikou, capital of South China's Hainan province, from July 26 to 30. To date, it has attracted 740 international exhibitors with 1,332 brands from 58 countries and regions.
The expo serves as an important platform to promote high-level opening-up, smooth domestic and international dual circulation, promote consumption upgrading, as well as boost the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
The exhibition area of this year's consumer products expo covers 100,000 square meters, comprised of an 80,000-sq-m international exhibition area and a 20,000-sq-m domestic exhibition area. France will be the guest country of honor for this year's expo.
Compared with the first CICPE, the international exhibition area of the second CICPE will add some global leading brands, including Richemont Group of Switzerland, De Beers Group of the United Kingdom, Swatch Group of Switzerland, L'Oreal Group of France, Estee Lauder Group of the United States, and Shiseido Group of Japan.
Representatives from 31 provinces of China will attend the expo. Famous domestic brands like gh-end liquor brand Wuliangye, traditional Chinese medicine brand Pien Tze Huang, well-known AI company iFlytek, world-renowned biotech company Bloomage Biotech, and Chinese ice cream brand Chicecream will be showcased in the domestic boutique products exhibition area.
The second CICPE will focus more on the consumer boutique industry, with duty-free business enterprises, cross-border e-commerce companies, and high-end real estate companies invited to participate in procurement transactions. It is expected that there will be more than 25,000 purchasers attending the expo.
During the five-day expo, the first three days will be mainly used as a platform for professional exhibitors and buyers to communicate and cooperate with each other, while the last two days will be open to the public, allowing people to participate in the high-level exhibition.
