Wanning builds better business environment for industrial chains

He Jingping, Party chief of Wanning, a coastal city in South China's Hainan province was interviewed by national media reporters on Sept 14 and talked about the city's measures to optimize the business environment.

He said that Wanning has set up a goal of creating a number of industries each valued at over 10 billion yuan ($1.55-billion)per year and is working hard to build industrial chains while improving its business environment to facilitate the process.

"In Wanning, after an enterprise obtains administrative permission, the information will be automatically sent to various government departments, and relevant departments will contact enterprises to ask about their needs and offer help," He said.

In recent years, Wanning has promoted system integration and innovation, leading the province with reforms in the engineering sector. Its practice of "letting firms do business as soon as they getting admittance" has been selected as an innovative model and has been promoted in Hainan.
