The State Council recently approved the establishment of 46 pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce to promote the stable development of foreign trade, according to reports from Xinhua on May 7.
The pilot zones will be built in cities and regions including Sanya in Hainan province and Xiong'an New Area in Hebei province.
As an emerging
business form, cross-border e-commerce has been surging rapidly in recently
years. Taking into account the experience in the previous 59 cross-border
e-commerce pilot zones, preferential policies like tax exemption can effectively
promote cross-border e-commerce development.
