South China's Hainan island will offer its fourth batch of over 500 tons of fresh fruit and vegetables to Hubei from Feb 1 to 7, to aid the province in its fight against the novel coronavirus outbreak.
A total of 11 trucks, packed with cowpeas, cucumbers, eggplants and mangoes, gathered at Xiuying Port in Haikou on Feb 1 and set off for Hubei.
In addition to supplying the local population in Hubei, the donation will also be distributed to the medical personnel, army officers and soldiers supporting Hubei's epidemic prevention and control work throughout the country.
