The 2018 Media Cooperation Forum on Belt and Road was held in Boao, Hainan on Oct 30.
Altogether 256 guests from 205 media outlets, institutes and international organizations from 90 countries participated in the forum to discuss prospects of countries and regions along the Belt and Road.
The forum was jointly sponsored by the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, the Hainan Provincial People's Government and People's Daily.
Besides the main forum, other three sub forums were also organized, themed on regional cooperation, artificial intelligence and smart media, and Silk Road cultural development.
