The 9th China International Conference Industry Festival, which was jointly held by Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce and China Conference & Exhibition magazine from June 23 to 28, has attracted thousands of industry participants from home and abroad to Hainan.

Hundreds of professional buyers in the convention industry were invited to visit Sanya, Qionghai, where Boao is located, and Haikou to carry out business and market research during their stay on the tropical island province.

A total of 12 MICE cooperation projects, with their contracts amounting to 200 million yuan ($30.21 million), are expected to be launched in Hainan, thanks to the organization of the festival.

The festival has been successfully held on eight previous occasions in China, serving as a platform for cooperation and the exchange of ideas for enterprises in the MICE industry.
