Xiuwen enhances vaccination services through digital upgrading

Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been busy providing convenient and safe vaccination services for the public, having already achieved the digital upgrading of its vaccination drive.

This has been done by regulating the vaccination environment, optimizing the related processes, and implementing traceability management.

The county has also established digitally supported vaccination clinics, dividing the outpatient reception hall into functional areas such as apre-examination triage room, registration room, vaccination room, and observation room.

Facilities such as queuing machines and display screens have also been well allocated, promoting quicker and more efficient handling processes.

All 10 township health centers and community health service centers in the county are now supported by digitally enhanced clinics.

Meanwhile, Xiuwen has improved its management and services in terms of registration, waiting, vaccination, and the observation of patients.

In addition, through enhanced digital management, the supervision of related medical information has been strengthened in various areas such as cold chain distribution, storage, and temperature alerts for vaccines.

With the facilities now equipped with automated temperature measurement systems and vaccine traceability systems, monthly inventory checks have been carried out to ensure the vaccines are scanned both inside and outside of the warehouse.
