Covering an area of about 2,320 mu (154.67 hectares), it is the first PV power station in Xiuwen county, with an installed capacity of 100 megawatts.

The PV area of the project is composed of 32 PV arrays, with over 250,000 monocrystalline silicon modules installed.

The average annual grid-connected green electricity is about 126 million kilowatt hours, which is equivalent to saving about 15,500 metric tons of standard coal, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 95,700 tons, or planting 5.32 million trees every year.

"The agricultural-photovoltaic complementary model of 'photovoltaic + planting and breeding' is the biggest highlight of the project," said Du Chuang, the project manager.

In the later stage of the project, the villagers will receive help in planting shade-loving Chinese medicinal materials and livestock and poultry breeding as well as scientifically plan the space under the solar panels.

The project will give priority to attracting households being monitored for poverty alleviation, households that are prone to a return to poverty and low-income groups to participate in project maintenance and management and promote rural vitalization.
