Xiuwen special recruitment fair popular among job seekers

The 2023 Xiuwen county "Spring Wind Action" job fair was held in Zhazuo sub-district, Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Jan 29.

A total of 42 companies participated, providing more than 7,000 jobs in more than 90 fields, such as machine repair, cleaning, babysitting, general work, clerk positions, and insurance.

The job fair was aimed at rural labor force and migrant workers who are stranded due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people who have been lifted out of poverty, rural low-income individuals, fishermen banned from fishing in the Yangtze River, those with employment difficulties, and college and university graduates.

On the day, more than 800 people reached preliminary employment intentions, and more than 1,200 promotional materials related to employment and entrepreneurship were distributed.
