Jinlong reservoir in Xiuwen passes acceptance

The Guiyang municipal water management bureau organized a team of experts to carry out a final inspection of Jinlong reservoir in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Jan 5.

The inspection committee composed of 27 people ultimately approved the reservoir to begin operating.

As the county water supply source, Jinlong Reservoir is designed to supply 15,000 cubic meters of water to the county every day, and was approved to receive a total investment of 118.26 million yuan ($17.44 million).

It is 6 kilometers away from the urban area of Xiuwen county and consists of three parts: a water source section, a dam observation section and a water transfer section.
