Since the start of this year, the township government has been working to improve the living environment in the countryside. While demolishing dilapidated and dangerous houses, it has also taken targeted steps to build many new homes and ordered the destruction and rectification of illegal buildings.

A total of 104 old houses in danger covering an area of 14,000 square meters have been demolished, eliminating hidden dangers facing farmers and improving local residents' living environment, as well as the overall appearance of the villages.

As a pilot village for the construction of pleasant rural homes in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, Qingshan village of the Saping township has taken innovative measures to advance renovation work.

While taking into account both appearance and functionality, the village has completed 171 rural homes, bringing locals a greater sense of security and happiness.
