Guizhou Tyre's 5G factory awarded title

At a meeting held recently in Southwest China's Guizhou province, the 5G full connection factory of State-owned Guizhou Tyre Co was awarded the title of Guizhou 5G application scenario demonstration project.

As the core of the new generation of information and communication technology, 5G technology has become the key to promoting the high-quality development of new industrialization.

In recent years, Guizhou Tyre has actively deployed demonstration pilot fields to build a fully connected factory production line with 5G private network transmission as the core. In doing so, Guizhou Tyre has mastered the comprehensive interconnection and control of production factors of their digital factory.

Additionally, Guizhou Tyre broke through the transmission barrier of industrial protocols. It uses open source 5G wireless industrial network management to process transmission data packets, improved the compatibility of wireless adaptation of equipment, and laid a foundation for a fully connected factory.

Since it was included in the list of State-owned enterprise reform of the State Council in 2018, Guizhou Tyre has continued to improve its business performance for several consecutive years. In 2021, it became the only enterprise in the province that has been rated excellent.

The company also ranked 28th in the 2021 top 34 list of global tire enterprises released by British magazine Tyrepress.
