It's late autumn season and the tangerine crop in Taoyuan village – in Liutun town in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – is now deep into harvest season.
The bright yellow tangerines, like lanterns, hang on the branches in clusters in the village.

The planting area for Taoyuan's tangerines is about 3,200 mu (213.33 hectares) and it's one of the leading industries in the village.
Hit by the drought this year, the output is not going to be high and the market is in short supply. Currently, the harvest is coming to an end.
The village is located in the downstream of Taoyuan River Scenic Spot in Xiuwen, which has stunning natural scenery. There are sightseeing trails and pavilions along the river.
Every autumn, the river valleys are fragrant and full of fruit and tourists can experience the picturesque scenery here.
