As of Sept 22, 85 out of 107 industrial enterprises above a designated size – those with annual output value of 20 million yuan ($2.79 million) or more – in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, had resumed operations amid the ongoing COVID-10 pandemic in the city.
As a pharmaceutical company mainly producing Miao medicine, Guizhou Green Sun Pharmaceutical Co now has nine production lines for Miao medicine ointment preparation and other production lines for health care products.
"Since the resumption of production on Sept 20, the company has strictly implemented various pandemic prevention policies, disinfected key areas such as office buildings and canteens once a day and strictly carried out measures such as temperature measurements, the wearing of masks and scanning codes of personnel," said company spokesperson Chen Peihong.
Chen said the company's production has now basically returned to normal.
In order to effectively promote the resumption of work and production of enterprises in an orderly manner, Xiuwen has disseminated its notice on pandemic prevention and control measures, conveying the latest policy instructions.
Furthermore, the county has issued a plan for the resumption of work and production of manufacturers and industrial projects under construction.
It has also distributed an instruction manual for normalized pandemic prevention and control for manufacturers and has established special teams of officials to help enterprises solve their difficulties in getting back to full output.
