Farmers in most townships, towns and sub-districts of Xiuwen that have been lifted from the static management model have been busy harvesting grains and fruits.
The county's Majiaqiao village has a large rice planting area. In order to improve the efficiency of grain harvesting, the villagers contacted the county's Yuanze Agricultural Machinery Service Farmer Professional Cooperative to harvest the rice with harvesters.
"Our harvesters are small and suitable for operation in alpine areas. During this season every year, rice farmers in surrounding districts and counties such as Kaiyang and Xifeng contact us to help them with mechanized harvesting," said a staff member of the Yuanze Agricultural Machinery Service Farmer Professional Cooperative.

This year, Xiuwen has promoted the building of a rice production mechanization demonstration area in seven townships, towns and sub-districts.
The 333.33-hectare demonstration area, relying on the technical strength of agricultural machinery professional cooperatives, has realized the mechanization of the whole agricultural process, including farming, planting, management and harvesting.
