Xiuwen-based company stages concert for cows

Guizhou Haoyiduo Dairy Co held a violin concert for cows at the pasture in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 5. The concert was also broadcast live online.

The company is specializing in dairy cattle breeding, forage planting and processing, and the R&D, production and sale of high-quality dairy products.

After the violin performance, the audience also performed talent shows for the cows, playing the piano and guzheng.

The concert was intended to show how carefully the company cares for the cows, because milk quality is contingent upon how well the cows are looked after, according to Zheng Jun, the person in charge of brand publicity of Guizhou Haoyiduo Dairy Co.

"In fact, some countries such as Denmark often hold similar concerts for their cows, but most of them are indoors. We chose to do so outdoors. Firstly, because the pasture has a beautiful environment, and secondly, because it provides a place for citizens who like cows to watch them," Zheng said.
