The first-phase trading area of the fresh pepper distribution center in Southwest China's Guizhou province officially began operating in the Guiyang Agricultural Products Logistics Park – located in Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of the Guizhou – on July 13.
The center consists of a fresh pepper trading area, a sorting and processing area, and a cold chain storage area. It will feature a product storage line, two drying lines, and two deep processing lines.

It is currently the province's largest fresh pepper whole industrial chain market integrating fresh pepper trading, sorting, processing, refrigeration and storage.
Merchants have already settled in all 48 stalls planned by the center.
The varieties of peppers on sale come from Guizhou, Guangxi, Hunan, Sichuan, Yunnan and other places.

Participating merchants can enjoy preferential policies such as rent-free operation, supply incentives and purchase incentives.
That day, businessmen who came to purchase peppers said that the peppers at the center are of good quality and wide variety. They also said purchase incentives during the opening period were very attractive and that they will continue to purchase in the future.
