Writers' creation base unveiled in Xiuwen's Damu village

The unveiling ceremony for the writers' creation base of the Guizhou Prose Society was held in Damu village, Liutun town, Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on June 15.

At the unveiling ceremony, Tang Kaiwen, member of the standing committee of the Xiuwen county Party committee and director of Xiuwen's publicity department, introduced Xiuwen's cultural tourist attractions and cultural and artistic work, and recommend the cultural tourism resources of Damu village.

Tang expressed hope that writers and cultural figures from all walks of life will come to Xiuwen to create more and better literary works in the county.

Damu village is home to ancient ginkgo trees, Jinye Lake, Bouyei ethnic group cultural resources and red cultural relics. Every year, a number of tourists come to the village for sightseeing and leisure.
