Guiyang counties ranked among China's top 100 for tourism development

According to the 2022 China county-level tourism study, Guiyang's Kaiyang county, Qingzhen county-level city and Xiuwen county in Southwest China's Guizhou province ranked among China's top 100 counties for their comprehensive strength in tourism.

The counties were selected based on their tourism economy, government efforts, tourism's influence on other industries, tourism development and environmental protection, tourism facilities and services, tourism quality supervision, and market supervision.

The Guizhou counties of Tongzi, Qianxi, Zhenyuan and Suiyang were on the list of China's top 100 counties for tourism development potential.

The list was based on the potential of tourism resources, tourism market, the benefits of tourism development, and social support.

In recent years, Guiyang has achieved significant success in constructing a demonstration area for all-for-one tourism by promoting tourism industrialization. It has built various cultural districts, shopping centers, and hot tourist spots, and launched tour routes and tourism products in an effort to become a national destination for mountain tourism.

Guiyang has been selected as the best city for avoiding summer heat for five years in a row.
