Xiuwen pilots care service for infants and children aged 0-3

The family planning association of Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently unveiled a pilot care service for infants and children aged 0-3 for Meilinwan Kindergarten in the county's Longchang sub-district.

The association will strive to receive 100,000 yuan ($14,969.89) from the Guizhou Provincial Family Planning Association project fund with the aim of improving the service quality at nursery institutions.

It will also promote the development of various types of infant care service institutions and meet the people's infant care needs.

With help from the pilot project, the county's family planning association will carry out business guidance, training, consultations and evaluations for the county's infant and child care service work and organize lectures.

Parents will be invited to participate in the lectures, which will offer parenting advice.

A variety of family activities will be held during traditional holidays to enhance interactions between children and parents and teach parents how to better parent their children.

In addition, the association will help infants and young children develop self-care and social interaction abilities, cognition and exploration abilities, logic and thinking abilities, language and emotion abilities, physical fitness and health every day.
