Tourism sector to thrive in Xiuwen

In recent years, Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been promoting the tourism industry.

Xiuwen has a rich cultural heritage and a wide variety of tourist attractions. It is now home to four national 4A-level tourist attractions, one national 3A-level tourist attraction, one national agricultural tourism demonstration site, and four provincial-level rural tourism key villages.

The main project of the Longgang Academy Hot Spring Hotel in China Yangming Cultural Park has been completed, and the Guxin Hot Spring in Taoyuan River Scenic Spot has started operating.

The renovation project of Yangming Academy has completed 85 percent of the overall image progress, and it is expected to open in June this year.

Projects such as the upgrading and reconstruction of Guizhou Forest Wildlife Park and Scottish pastures are in full swing as well.

The county will also work to improve summer health tourism, mountain sports tourism, and leisure sightseeing tourism.
