With the arrival of early summer, the weather is gradually warming and more tourists are visiting Shian new village – located in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The village is well-located and has great natural scenery, with high terrain in the north and low terrain in the south. It has an average altitude of 1,277 meters and an average annual temperature of 13.3 C, making it a great summer destination.

The village's economy is dominated by agriculture, with its main crops being rice, corn and beans. In addition to several streams, it is also home to the Shuanggou dam and weir, Shiai irrigation station, and some artesian irrigation ditches.
In 2001, a comprehensive improvement project began in the village, including the construction of Weimin Bridge, cement road repairs, construction of sewage pipe networks and garbage pools, and courtyard renovation.
The summer economy has gradually taken shape in the village. About 1,300 meters up Xiniu Mountain, dozens of summer villas have been built, offering beautiful scenic views.
In addition to the uniquely designed villas, the villa area also has facilities such as public squares, viewing platforms, and landscape trails, spurring the development of the village's summer economy.
