In the first quarter of this year, Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, saw a year-on-year GDP increase of 0.3 percent to 4.29 billion yuan ($634.52 million).
During the period, the added value of the county's primary, secondary and tertiary industries were 570 million yuan, 1.96 billion yuan and 1.76 billion yuan, respectively, accounting for 13.3 percent, 45.7 percent and 41 percent of the county's GDP.
