Xiuwen to get new industrial park next year

Construction work on the Yonghui Supermarket Guizhou Supply Chain Industrial Park – located in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is progressing smoothly.

With a total investment of 400 million yuan ($62.87 million), the project covers an area of 130 mu (8.67 hectares), and it started construction in March 2020.

It will feature a Yonghui Industrial Chain Production and Processing Base that integrates agricultural processing, commodity procurement, cold chain warehousing, cold chain distribution, commodity research and development, and commodity testing.

"So far, the fresh food processing workshop, sorting plant, and main building have been completed. We are now working to advance the warehouse decoration and equipment installation. It is expected to be completed and put into production by the end of March 2022," said Yang Zhu, the project director.

After completion, the project will have an annual output value of 1 billion yuan and make profits of 10 million yuan. It is expected to realize an annual output value of 5 billion yuan by 2025, with an annual tax payment of 50 million yuan.

As one of the core supply chain industrial parks of Yonghui Supermarket nationwide, the project will further improve the urban circulation system of Xiuwen, accelerate the development of related industries such as agriculture and services, and promote the sale of products made in Guizhou.
