North extension project for Shubo Avenue in Xiuwen opens

The recent opening to traffic of the Xiuwen section of the north extension project for Shubo Avenue is expected to play an important role in promoting new urbanization in Xiuwen county – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

With a total investment of 852 million yuan ($132.11 million), the Xiuwen section has a total length of 2.95 kilometers, with a width of 55 meters.

The road starts in Xingfu village in the Yangmingdong sub-district of Xiuwen. After crossing with the Guiyang-Bijie Expressway, it passes through Daqing and Chengguan villages to the south and then crosses the Chuanshanyan River and Longzha Road.

The completion of the road has reportedly improved the construction of the urban infrastructure of Xiuwen, boosting the development of the entire road network there and the value of the surrounding land.
