Guiyang, Guian launch first imported cold chain food supervision warehouse

The first centralized supervision site (warehouse) for imported cold chain food in Guiyang and the Guian New Area was launched in the Guiyang Agricultural Products Logistics Park in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 23.

After the supervision warehouse is put into use, all imported cold chain food below 0 C purchased from other cities into Guiyang and Guian New Area must enter the warehouse for supervision control by appointment.

The food is required to undergo nucleic acid testing, centralized disinfection, and transit inspection, and can be circulated after obtaining a transit inspection pass certificate.

The warehouse is divided into five functional partitions: an entrance inspection area, a disinfection channel, a to-be-inspected area, an operational area, and a result waiting area.

It is equipped with work warehouses, offices, isolation rooms, driver and passenger lounges, and disinfection testing lounges to effectively prevent cross-infection among staff members, goods, and drivers.

The official opening of the warehouse will further improve the prevention and control system, minimize the risk of the epidemic, and effectively reduce imported cold chain food-related epidemic risks.
