In the first half of this year, Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, received 4.74 million visits and saw a year-on-year increase of 32.4 percent in tourism revenue to 4.21 billion yuan ($652.34 million).

This year, to deepen the integration of culture and tourism and promote the high-quality development of tourism, Xiuwen has initiated the establishment of a national-level all-for-one tourism demonstration zone.
As of the end of June, the Yangming Cultural Park Hot Spring Hotel and the main body of the Guxin Hot Spring in Taoyuan River Scenic Area had been completed.
Xiuwen has also launched one red tourism boutique route and eight rural tourism one-day boutique routes. The county is currently making every effort to build a research and tourism base revolving around Yangming culture and Damu village red culture.
