Xiuwen employee basketball game begins

The 2021 Guiyang "rural revitalization" activities – a basketball game and a 2021 Xiuwen employee basketball game opened at the gymnasium of Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 24.

A total of 40 teams from townships, towns, sub-districts, departments, and enterprises in the county will have 106 competitions in the next 14 days. Thirty-three men's and seven women's basketball teams will be divided into four groups.

The competitions aim to enrich the sports and cultural lives of employees in Xiuwen and promote exchange and communication among employees.

In recent years, Xiuwen has continuously improved its public service system for fitness, and advanced the construction of fitness facilities. The county's per capita area for public sports venues ranks first in Guiyang.

Guiyang's "rural revitalization" series of activities has always combined the improvement of the quality of sports activities with the promotion of rural development.
