Xiuwen stages artistic performance to celebrate CPC's 100th anniversary

An artistic performance celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was staged on June 30 in the gymnasium of Xiuwen county, Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

About 1,000 audience members from the county watched the performance, shared their understanding of the Party's century of struggle and celebrated the Party's centennial.

That night, national red flags fluttered and the lights were bright in Xiuwen's gymnasium, creating a festive atmosphere.

The evening was divided into two parts: the commendation ceremony and the art performance. The artistic performance commenced with the male and female duet "I Swear."

During the commendation ceremony, Xiuwen awarded the "50 Years of Glory in the Party" commemorative medals to 11 veteran Party member representatives.

Sentimental and creative performances eulogized the glorious and magnificent course of the CPC over the past century and showed Xiuwen's rapid development and changes.

The show vividly presented the glorious course of the CPC leading the people of all ethnic groups across the country to prosperity and entering a new era.
