Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- signed off on two projects worth 140 million yuan ($1.76 million) that will soon break ground there, at an investment promotion for Guizhou and East China's Jiangsu province held on May 11.

The two projects will start construction within two months and be fully completed and begin operating within 12 months.

The county also invited Jiangsu Yanghe Distillery Co and other enterprises to visit it. At the investment promotion, it held talks with 34 Jiangsu concerns and held initial negotiations on five industrial projects related to liquor industry parks, machinery and equipment and food processing, with initial expressions of interest involving potential investment of more than 1 billion yuan.

To achieve the best possible results from the event, Xiuwen carefully collected information on the Jiangsu companies that were participating.

The county has built up confidence and experience in marketing itself, in the pursuit of investment funds and projects.

Taking the latest investment promotion as a fresh opportunity, Xiuwen plans to further extend exchanges and cooperation and expand its development -- continuing to optimize its business environment to attract more Jiangsu investors.
