13 projects start construction in Xiuwen

On May 6, Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province held a groundbreaking ceremony for projects which will begin construction in May.

The ceremony involved a total of 13 projects, which have a planned investment of 1.05 billion yuan ($163.35 million).

The projects focus on industrial fields such as manufacturing, energy raw materials, infrastructure construction, economic and trade circulation, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, and transportation.

Since the beginning of this year, Xiuwen has focused on high-quality development requirements and has continued to increase investment promotion and project construction.

After the groundbreaking ceremony, Xiuwen officials also visited the construction sites of several projects, such as Yonghui Supermarket Guizhou Supply Chain Industrial Park and the relocation project of Guiyang Sports Middle School.

They were briefed on the project's construction progress, and learned more about the project's investment scale and economic benefits.
