Xiuwen invests 1.72b yuan in 12 major programs in March

A groundbreaking ceremony for Xiuwen county's 12 major programs for the month of March was held at Guizhou Heli smart ecological logistics industrial park on March 31. Total investment in the programs amounts to 1.72 billion yuan ($258 million).

The 12 programs will cover fields including manufacturing, trade circulation, city construction, infrastructure, social welfare, farming, fishing and herding in four sub-districts and three towns in Xiuwen.

The biggest investment will be made in the Heli smart ecological logistics industrial park. The government invested 800 million yuan in a program that will cover an area of 32.45 hectares. The program is expected to transport quality and competitively-priced local products worth more than 5 billion yuan per year, and to create more than 20,000 job opportunities at the same time.
