Guiyang agricultural logistics park celebrates anniversary

A commendation ceremony for Guiyang Agricultural Products Logistics Park's efforts in helping poverty alleviation was held on March 15, along with a celebration of the 2nd anniversary of its opening.

Guiyang Agricultural Products Logistics Park is located in Xiuwen county, Guiyang city, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

More than 300 people participated in the event, including government officials, company and farm cooperative representatives, merchants and buying agents.

In his speech, Zhu Qijun, deputy head of Xiuwen county, praised the rapid growth of the park and its contributions to the economic and social development of the county.

Over the past two years, the park has actively promoted matchmaking of production and sales, established special sales channels for the Guizhou poverty alleviation program's agricultural products, rolled out incentives and improved policies, made positive contributions to the province's fight against poverty and promoted its agrarian produce.

During the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control period, it has actively adopted various measures to ensure the supply of daily necessities for locals and played an important role in stable prices.

As of March 11, Guiyang Agricultural Products Logistics Park handled 2.44 million metric tons of transactions, worth 15.64 billion yuan ($2.41 billion).
