The taxation bureau of Xiuwen county -- in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- has since the start of the year improved its export tax rebates, to promote the development of the local foreign trading companies.

The bureau has implemented an online refunds policy, as well as strengthened communications and contacts with banks and other government departments, to ensure that tax refunds flow to businesses promptly. The export tax rebates can now be completed within one to two working days.

In addition, through WeChat groups and visiting enterprises, the bureau has strengthened policy guidance to the finance staff members of export enterprises and resolved a number of problems for exporters.

Guizhou Tyre Co is an export company that mainly produces tires and rubber products. Its products are shipped to many countries and regions overseas.

However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic this year, foreign trade orders decreased, resulting in greater pressure on corporate capital.

In the process of visiting foreign trading companies, the taxation bureau of Xiuwen county had handled 4.52 million yuan ($692,020.33) in export tax rebates to the company.

To date, the bureau has handled export paperwork for seven enterprises, yielding a total tax rebate amount of 6 million yuan.
