Citizens visit environmental protection facilities in Xiuwen county

The environmental protection facilities in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, opened to the public on June 18, which also marked Guizhou Eco Day.

Many citizens visited the sewage treatment plant and domestic waste transfer station in Xiuwen county, learning more about the treatment process of domestic waste and sewage.

Seeing the muddy sewage turned into clear and transparent water made the guests look on in wonder.

Through such on-site visits, citizens have gained a detailed understanding of the county's environmental protection facilities.

 "We have seen how sewage and waste are treated harmlessly, and learned a lot of environmental protection knowledge. In the future, we will participate in more activities to contribute to environmental protection," said a citizen.
