Wudang launches 2025 tree-planting campaign

On Feb 5, multiple townships, towns, and sub-districts in Wudang district, Guiyang, carried out a 2025 tree-planting event.

This year, Dongfeng town planted over 150 ginkgo trees. The town has been conducting tree-planting activities for more than 10 consecutive years, and over 3,500 trees, including osmanthus, cherry blossoms, and ginkgoes, have been planted.

In Xinchang town, over 300 azalea saplings have "taken root" along the Kelong 10,000-mu (667 hectares) azalea route. Through their hard work, everyone has added a touch of greenery to the early spring land.

In Yangchang town, technicians provided on-site guidance to ensure the quality of the tree planting. Following their instruction, participants planted 110 ginkgo saplings, now standing tall in the spring breeze, radiating vitality and life.

In Xinpu village, over 200 osmanthus trees were planted by the locals.
