A training session teaching farmers how to operate farm machinery was held in Baiyi township, Wudang district, with 50 people from various townships across the district participating.
"First, check if the machine is in neutral, then slowly start shifting gears. Drive a bit slower when working in the fields..." At the training site, instructors gave detailed explanations, as trainees carefully operated the machinery.
Organized by the Wudang district bureau of agriculture and rural affairs, the training session was designed to address the practical needs of agricultural production. The course adopted an approach combining classroom instruction, field teaching, and hands-on practice. Local agricultural experts with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience led the sessions, focusing on the operation, maintenance, and safety practices for agricultural machinery.
The course provided an understanding of machinery policies and regulations, fundamental machinery knowledge, and safe driving techniques, and taught participants how to use tractors and related equipment. Practical exercises allowed trainees to learn the applications of various types of farm machinery in different planting processes, effectively putting knowledge into practice. Upon passing the training assessment, participants will receive tractor and combine harvester driving licenses.
