Cheng Hefang, an athlete from Wudang district of Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou, will fiercely compete in the badminton event at this year's Paris Paralympic Games.
The Chinese delegation to the Paris Paralympic Games was established on Aug 16 in Beijing. It comprises 10 athletes, including Cheng Hefang, two coaches, and two staff members from Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The Paris Paralympic Games include 22 sports and 549 events, and 4,400 athletes from 160 countries and regions will participate.
The Chinese delegation's total number is 516, including 284 athletes and 232 coaches and staff members.
All the Chinese delegation's athletes are amateurs, working as workers, farmers, students, civil servants, corporate clerks, and freelancers. During the games, they will compete in 302 events in 19 sports, such as shooting, swimming, weightlifting, track and field, and table tennis.
The 10 Guizhou athletes will attempt to medal in their three main disciplines: badminton, swimming, and shooting.
