Wudang ranks first in excellent air quality in June

Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, ranked first among all the city's 14 districts, county-level cities, counties and development zones in terms of the composite index of ambient air quality in June.

The data shows that the 14 regions in Guiyang all enjoyed a good air quality on every single day of June, with the composite index ranging from 1.54 to 2.11 and the PM2.5 concentration staying between 5 to 20 micrograms per cubic meter. The other top five regions in terms of the composite index are Kaiyang county, Qingzhen city, Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ), and Guanshanhu district.  

In the first half of the year, Wudang district ranked third in the city, while Qingzhen city came in on top, followed by Guanshanhu district. Huaxi district and Guiyang HIDZ tied for the fourth spot.
